AIR PROTECT +
SAFETY PROVEN AT OVER 200 MPH

THE RACE FOR FULL BODY PROTECTION IS OVER
Opened in September, 2010, the Dorel Technical Center for Child Safety is a one-of-a-kind facility that features specialized research and design operations with the sole purpose of helping us create the safest car seats possible. With our Center for Child Safety located in Columbus, Indiana; the nearby racing industry was a natural place for our engineers to look to for inspiration.

When looking to enhance the safety of our own car seats, Safety 1st knew that Bald Spot Sports would be a perfect fit.

MAXIMUM SECURITY AND COMFORT

Air Protect + technology is positively the safest choice in full body protection.

Air Protect + combines the advanced protection of the Safety 1st Air Protect® cushion system around the head with patented GCell HX™ foam designed with hexagonal shapes for superior protection around the torso. TOGETHER they provide full body side impact protection.

PERFECTED FOR MINIVANS

Scott’s proudest moment in racing was winning the 2008 Indy 500, but family comes first. Asked about his proudest moments in life, he answers, "Taking the plunge and asking Emma to marry me - and the birth of my children."

LIKE FATHER, LIKE DAUGHTER.

RACING IS A FAMILY TRADITION

Emma likes going pretty fast herself and was an 800 meter distance runner for Great Britain. She fuels up the family on race mornings by making a delicious batch of pancakes.

GIVING BACK

Scott takes time during his busy race schedule to make a difference in the communities he visits by reading a book to elementary school children as part of Target's many reading programs. In his own words, "It’s always fun to participate in events like this in the communities where we race, especially now having two children myself who I read to."
